Donald Max Harrell, 59, passed away on Thursday, January 03, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 6, at Carlisle Funeral Home with Ralph Webb and the Rev. Wade Parker officiating.

Donald was born in Nash County to Max Millard Harrell and Nannie Gay Harrell. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He loved cooking on his grill and serving food to his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nannie Gay Harrell; and a very close friend, Joe Radford. He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Owens Harrell; daughter, Kayla Ashley Harrell and boyfriend, Frederick Davis and his son Ayden Davis; father, Max Millard Harrell; brother, William "Bill" Harrell and wife Joesy; nephew, Christopher Harrell and wife Samantha; great niece, Elizabeth Rose Harrell; niece, Chelsea Lee Harrell; and a close friend, Doris Radford and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm.
