Donald Arthur Morris, Jr., 49, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019.

Donald was born on May 18, 1969 to Donald A. and Ann H. Morris in Tarboro, NC.

He married Kimberly Jo Stroud on May 29, 1999 in Edenton, NC. He earned a bachelor's degree from ECU, studied at the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, and was a Senior Vice President at Southern Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly S. Morris, of Currituck, NC; daughters, Parker Leigh Morris and Joanna Peyton Morris of the home; son, Donald A. Morris, III, of the home; sisters, Terri Morris (children Christopher/Carianna Boyd and Rebecca Boyd/William McDaris), Susan Morris (child Haley Cooper), Summer/Mike Santana (children Sloan and Margot); brothers, Joe Stroud/Rene (child Saylor), Charles "Chuck" Creech (child Charlie); parents, Ann H. Morris and Bonnie W. Stroud; as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 4:00-6:00pm, and other times at 714 Wellington Lane, Tarboro, NC.
