Donald Ray Sutton Sr., 78, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Tarboro First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Eva Sutton; and 3 sisters, Loretta Sutton, Betty Jo Bulluck, and Marie Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Yolanda Sutton; son, Donald Ray Sutton Jr. and his wife Carol; siblings, Herbert Sutton, Ruth Bunting, and Deanie Dodd; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Donald was a paramedic and fireman for 27 years. He worked at Nash and Eastern Pines Fire and Rescue Department. He loved being a paramedic. Donald always loved and was willing to help anyone who needed it.
