Mrs. Doris Jean Brewer, age 82, passed away on February 23, 2018 in Vidant Edgecombe Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father William and Margaret Batts; brother Jackie Batts.

Doris is survived by her husband Lotis Brewer of the home, three sons, Joe and wife Janet Brewer of Tarboro, David and wife Kathy Brewer of Tarboro, Rodney and wife Lorri Brewer of Tarboro, daughter Susan and husband Tommy Lamm of Fountain, brother Billy Batts of Dunn, NC, grandchildren Robbie Brewer, Blake Brewer, Keith and wife Alana Brewer and Jimmy Lamm, one great Grandson Noah Brewer, several neices and nephews.

A Celebration of Doris's Life will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 3:00 Pm at Northern Boulevard Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Jones and Rev Josh Coker officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour before the service at the church.

The interment will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
