Mrs. Doris Marie Joyner, 67 of Elm City passed away in Vidant Edgecombe Hospital, Tarboro, N.C.

A celebration of Doris's Life will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 2:00pm in Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount, N. C.

Family  will receive friends and other relatives Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro from 6:00 – 8:00pm

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Joyner;  father, Linwood Harris and mother, Edna Tripp Jacobs; Great grandson, Easton Gray Murray.

Doris is survived by her loving family, including daughters, Ginny Landvater and her husband, Jason Landvater, Lisa Murray and her fiancée, Troy Hill; Son, Allen Joyner and his wife, Gay Joyner; Grandchildren, Alexus and Kaitlyn Landvater, Ashley Cascell and her husband, J. P., Levi Murray, and Matthew Joyner; Great grandchildren, Gracie and Eli Cascell Sisters, Ann and her husband, Bruce Joyner, Betty Winstead.
