IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Doris "Kitty"
Webb Pollard
August 15, 1937 – December 16, 2023
Doris "Kitty" Webb Pollard passed away on Saturday, December, 16, 2023.
"Kitty" Doris Webb Pollard was born August 15, 1937 in Old Sparta to Herbert Speight Webb and Ruby Conyers Webb. Kitty was a devoted wife to Fred Pollard Jr. and a loving mother to Billie "Dean" Bisogno and "Chris" Christopher Lee Pollard. Kitty worked diligently as a patient representative/cashier at the Tarboro Clinic for 45 years. She also ran/owned the restaurant "64 Seafood" for some years at nights while continuing full time at the clinic.
Visitation will be at 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Rev. Don Causey officiating the service.
Throughout her life the one constant was she loved everyone. Kitty will be remembered for her joyous and happy attitude and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. She loved visiting her sister Marie (Sister) for coffee and oh she made the best cakes and she looked so forward to visits from her twin brother Davis (Naffy) from Kinston, and her sister Lou Ellen (Piggy) from Zebulon. "Miss Kitty" loved crafting and going to yard sales. She and her sister Margaret (Tick) would do this thing they called "romping" where they'd go in old abandoned houses and find treasures. I'm sure now, that would be called "stealing". She loved her sister "git" togethers and when her sister Ruby (Duck) would come over every Thursday night (because church was on Wednesday) for supper and coffee at the kitchen table (oh if that table could talk). She loved having everyone that would and wanted to come over for "Sunday dinner" where she'd cook and if the food ran out she'd cook some more. I remember some of the "favs".... fried chicken, collards, salat (with a "t"), homemade biscuits, cheese biscuits and don't forget the fudge she made at Christmas (her nephew Donald Webb loved).
Kitty is preceded in death by her mother and father; her ten sisters and brothers (nicknames and not in order) her brothers, her twin Naffy, Pee Wee, Pickle, Cotton, Bust Tank, and Buddy; her sisters, Tick, Sister, Piggy and Duck; her son, Christopher Lee Pollard; and granddaughter, Kara Grace Bisogno.
Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Billie Dean Bisogno; grandchildren, Christopher Landon Pollard, Macy Claire Bisogno, Max Enzo Bisogno, and all of her nieces and nephews.
