Dorothy W. Brown, 87, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 am, Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Don Holland and Henry Long officiating. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Brown and a grandson, Thomas Ray Salter.

She is survived by her loving family, including a son, Kenneth Brown and his wife Jeannette; Grandchildren, Chris Salter and his wife, Tracy, Scott Salter and his wife, Georgia; Great grandchildren, Jordan Salter, Tyler Salter, Evan Salter, Makenzie Salter and Chandler Salter; Sister, Ruby East; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at Carlisle Funeral Home from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
