Dorothy Perry, age 93, of Tarboro passed away peacefully on Monday April 27, 2020

She was born on June 27, 1926 to the late Frank Price and Mary Cooper Price.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert W. Jones and James "Jim" Perry, two sisters and one brother.

Dorothy was a member of McKendree Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Peggy Jones and husband Jim of Florida, Carolyn Simpson and husband Bob of Georgia and Marie Armstrong-Phelps and husband Henry of Tarboro, five grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, for the publics and family safety a private graveside service will be held at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Reverend Billy Crabtree officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Fountains at the Albemarle for the loving care and support they gave our mother. We also would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their help during this difficult time. We especially want to thank Willie Halligan for being such a great friend to Mom.
