Edith Dupree Sessoms, 94, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Bessie Dupree; husband, George T. Sessoms Sr.; and 5 siblings and their spouses, Margaret Glover (James), Spencer Dupree (Ruth), Jim Dupree (Helen), Lib Moore (Cecil), and Peggy Murfee (Ernest).

She is survived by her son, George T. Sessoms Jr. and wife Kim and their children, Thomas Sessoms (Rachel) and Katie S. Doetzer (Ben); and her daughter, Densie Sessoms (Dan Oakley); and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Divine Street United Methodist Church P.O. Box 816 Dunn, NC 28335.

The family will have a private burial.
