Edna Ruth Webb Harris, 75, a resident of Coble Blvd, died Friday, July 7, 2023 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC.

She was born on October 11, 1947 in Edgecombe County to the late James Webb and Emily Reason Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Rebecca Harrell.

Mrs. Harris was retired from the NC Department of Corrections where she was a prison guard in Bunn.

She is survived by one son, David Miller (Laurie) of Kittrell; two daughters, Michelle M. Smith (Alvin) of Ozark, Alabama and Cathy M. Sizemore (Keith) of Ringgold, Georgia; one son, James Fennell (Angel) of Virginia; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue W. Pilgreen (Hal) of Winterville, NC and Lynn W. Harrell (Bill) of Crisp, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Pineview Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Holden officiating.
