Edna Marie Williamson, 94, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held at Tarboro Church of God on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 3:00pm with the Pastor Sammy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Williamson; daughters, Myrtle Norville Spruill, Dianne Whitfield; son, Tom Barnette; grandson, Brent Whitfield. Marie is survived by her grandchildren, Mitchell Norville, Melanie Whitfield Johnson, Crystal Whitfield Lane, Laura Barnette, Julie Barnette, Evelyn Barnette, William Barnette; many great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm at Tarboro Church of God. Arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Inc., of Tarboro.
