Mrs. Eleanor Irene Trevathan, age 90 of Macclesfield passed away at her home on Friday, May 26, 2023

Eleanor was happily married to JT Trevathan and enjoyed working by his side at Trevathan Construction. She was known for her kindness and her love to help others. Eleanor served in the Ladies Auxiliary for 45 years for Edgewood Church, along with serving as the clerk for 23 years at the church. Reading her Bible was the highlight of her day.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, JT Trevathan, her parents, Wiley and Elender Prince Briley, her brother, Sam Briley, and her sisters, Dot Waters and Mildred Briley.

She is survived by her son, David Trevathan and wife (Betty Lou), Grandson Brandon Trevathan and wife (Catherine), Granddaughter, Christal Wooten, Great Grandson Colton Trevathan, Sister, Jean Bunting and husband (Douglas), Family, Ronnie and Jean Bunn, and her lunch buddies Joyce Stokes and Shirley Wooten and the Edgewood Church Family and JR Proctor (as she called her "boyfriend")..

A Celebration of Eleanor's Life will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 2 PM with the family receiving friends and family one hour before the service. The interment will follow in the Edgewood Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery
