Eli Leonard O'Neal, age 67, died Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at ECU Health Medical Center.

Mr. O'Neal was the owner and operator of O'Neal Grading Inc for 24 years. He was employed by Bobby Odom Construction for 22 years and Hoke Construction for 3 years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Essie Williamson and Wilson "Perk" O'Neal and his sister Rose Pollard; brothers Jathel and Gene O'Neal.

He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Patsy Everette O'Neal of the home, a daughter, Kimberly O'Neal James and husband Michael of Pinetops, NC; a son Chad Everette O'Neal of Greenville, NC; two sisters Lucy Gardner of Pinetops, NC and Debbie Proctor of Pinetops, NC; seven grandchildren Amy and husband Joseph Casteel IV, Tyler O'Neal, Hannah and Hailey O'Neal, J.P, Riley and Zachary James two step grandchildren Brianna and Kristopher Bell.

The graveside service is on Tuesday September 6th at 2pm at Edgecombe Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home 15755 US Hwy 258 S, Fountain, NC 27829.
