Elizabeth Ann Braddy, 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.  She was predeceased by her parents, Stonewall and Katie Simpkins; husband, Clyde Braddy, daughters, Sylvia Whitfield and Sheila Taylor; brother, Stonewall Simpkins, and sister, Allie Vick.

She is survived by her two grandsons, Doug Whitfield and Michael Hathaway; best friend, Janice Burnette; stepchildren, Mary Grace Daughtridge, A.B Whitley, Kevin Whitley, Sylvia Stancil and their spouses.

Ann was a caring and loving person, willing to help whenever she could.  Pete Whitley, her special friend, was the love of her life and they found much happiness in their years together.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Edgecombe Memorial Park Mausoleum. A Graveside Service will follow immediately at Edgecombe Memorial Park Mausoleum in Tarboro, NC on Friday, December 12, 2025.
