Mrs. Elizabeth Elliott Jones, age 87, of Tarboro passed away with her family near her in Vidant Edgecombe Hospital on April 19, 2019.

She was born on November 2, 1931 in Nash County to the parents Sam and Annie Elliott. She graduated Tarboro High School in 1950 where she continued her spirit with the Alumni association. In 1952 she married Lloyd Roberson who passed in 1959 and remarried to Eddie Dee Jones in 1961 who passed in 2001 and also preceded in death by a brother Sammie Elliott who passed in 1965.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Weathersby and husband Brian of Tarboro, grandson Travis B. Weathersby and wife Anna L. and granddaughter Allison Pierce and husband Josh, great grandchildren are Jackson and Ava Weathersby and Lauren, Kylie and Chelsie Pierce also by several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Elizabeth's Life will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11 Am in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
