Elizabeth H. Manning, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 with her loving family by her side

She was born in Edgecombe County on September 12, 1932 to James Howard Harrington and Eula Terry Harrington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Lisa Renee Manning and Tony Ray Manning.

She is survived by her daughters, Terry Armstrong, Lisa Manning Alonso and husband Rogelio; sons, Thomas E. Manning, II, Christopher Manning; grandchildren, Terry Lee Claiborne and wife Kristy, Angela Star Claiborne, R.J. Alonso, Wesley Alonso, Toni Barfield, Darin Manning; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, from 12:30-1:45pm, and other times at the home of Lisa Rogelio, 141 South Shiloh Road, Tarboro, NC.  A graveside service will follow on Saturday at 2:00pm in Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Pastor Sammy Wood officiating.
