Ellen Rose Harrell Forehand, 78, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, August 12, at Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops, NC.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Acie Ray Harrell; daughter, Jackie Wishall; brothers, Mack Varnell, Linwood (Smarty)Varnell, Paul Varnell and Robert Varnell.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 21 years, Cecil Forehand; daughter, Terry Quinn and husband Jeff; sisters, Peggy Brake and husband Percy; Doris Pittman; son-in-law, Ronald Wishall; grandchildren, Hunter Wishall and wife Kaitlin; Haley Wishall and fiancé Brian Wallace, Darby Ellen Quinn, Payton Elizabeth Quinn; step-son, Daniel "Duke" Forehand and wife Belinda; and their daughter, Katelyn Forehand.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00-8:00pm.
