Ellen House Pike, 67, passed away on August 12, 2023.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Tarboro, NC officiated by Rev. Berry House and Rev. Oris Hubbard. Burial will follow at Hobgood Cemetery.

She retired after 30 years of service from the Telephone Company.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lillian House; her first husband, Charles Strickland Sr.; and brother, John David House.

She is survived by her son, Charles Strickland Jr. and his wife Ashley; husband, William Pike; grandson, Ephraim Strickland; and brothers, Milton House, Richard House, Berry House, Junius House, Lonnie House, Mike House and Pete House.

Visitation will be at 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Carlisle Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends at Junius home, 1300 Captains Road, Tarboro, NC 27886.
