Mrs. Ellie H. Webb of Tarboro passed away at the ECU Edgecombe Hospital on March 14, 2025.

She is the daughter of Charlie and Pauline G. Harrell. Ellie married her high school sweetheart Battle Brooks Webb on February 26, 1956. She retired from Carolina Telephone after 38 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law P. Wayne Allen.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years Brooks Webb, sister Shelby Allen, brother William Harrell, sister-in-law Daphne Harrell, nieces Jessica H. Lane and Tiffany Melton, three great nephews Lucas Roberts, Brady Melton and Asher Melton.

A Celebration of Ellie's life will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:30 until 3 PM.

The Entombment at Edgecombe Memorial Park will be Private for family only.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to St. James Methodist Church, Tarboro NC or the American Cancer Society
