Obituary

Emma Sue Webb born June 9, 1945, passed into the arms of her savior on her 80th birthday, June 9, 2025. Her twin brother, Walter Hagans, held her hand as she passed, with her family also by her side.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 PM in the fellowship hall of Pinetops Baptist Church. The funeral, officiated by Pastor Randy Smith, will follow at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary. Interment will be held at Macclesfield Cemetery afterwards.

Sue was preceded in death by parents, Dow and Betty Hagans, cherished husband, Allen Webb, siblings Frances Webb, Doris Webb, and Tommy Hagans. She is survived by twin brother Walter Hagans, daughter Wendy Drake and husband David, grandson Jeffrey Drake and wife Nicole, Ashley Davis and husband Jacob, great-grandchildren Mason and Sadie Drake, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, wonderful sisters-in law Jerri Edmondson and June Reason, brother-in-law Kenny Ray Webb, and best friend since second grade, Katherine Braswell.

Sue first met her husband Allen in her sophomore year of high school. They were married January 27, 1962. Sue and Allen were happily married for 54 years and traveled together whenever they got the chance. They loved to travel with friends and family alike. Sue adored all children and throwing get togethers for all who could come. She served faithfully for many years at Peace Free Will Baptist Church, planting seeds of faith that are still blooming throughout her family today. She eventually moved her membership to Pinetops Baptist Church to be with family in her later years, where she continued to serve as long as she was able.

Though her family will miss her greatly, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her beloved Allen and family that has gone on before her. In remembrance of Sue's life of love and service, the family asks that any donations be made to Pinetops Baptist Church Building Fund.
