Esther Etheridge Edmondson, 84, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021, 2:00 pm, Edgecombe Memorial Park with Pastor Jessie Blalock officiating.

Esther had a great love for The Lord, family and friends. She enjoyed working in her yard, growing and watching her flowers mature and blossom.

She was born in Wilson County to Reverend C. R. Etheridge and Pauline Taylor Etheridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vonda Summerlin, brother, Dr. Richard Etheridge.

She is survived by her loving family including her husband, Robert "Bob" Edmondson, Jr., daughter, Dawn Roberts and her husband, Tim of Raleigh, son, Tim Edmondson and his wife, Loralee of Tarboro, grandchildren, Jordan Summerlin, Corben Summerlin and wife, Kelsey, Jennah Summerlin, Emily Rittenhouse and her husband, T. J., and Camille Roberts. Son-in-law, Lee Summerlin of Tarboro, Sisters, Joyce Reale`  of Long Island, N.Y., Judy Dixon of Robersonville, brothers, Tom Etheridge of Wilson, Harry Etheridge of Christiansburg, Va.
