Evelyn Faye Hawkins, 82 passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Rich Square Health Care Home.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 , 4:00 pm, Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Freeman officiating.

Evelyn was born in Edgecombe County April 17, 1936 to John Elbert and Maude Evelyn Grady.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rick Bailey and great-granddaughter, Zoey Jane Pittman.

She is survived by her loving family, including daughters, Jody Cobb and Rogina Bailey; son, Grady Matthews; grandchildren, Candace, Kevin, Melissa, Kyle, Carrie, Gary, Elizabeth and Mike; and 4 great-grandchildren.
