Evelyn Penwell Shelton, 78, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 am, Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro. Entombment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Enfield.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Wingate and Ruth Ann Penwell; a step-daughter, Kimberly Carol Kokoruda.
She is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Carl Shelton; grandsons, Anthony Troy Kokoruda and wife, Amy Rose, Eric Mitchell Kokoruda and wife, Ashley; step-son, George Shelton; great grandchildren, Anthony Troy Kokoruda, Jr., Anthony Stephen Kokoruda, Matthew Carl Crews Kokoruda and Ericah Carol Kokoruda. The family will receive friends and other relatives Friday from 7:00 – 9:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
