Evelyn Deloris (Lois) Ward went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was born on August 13, 1941 to Frank Earl O'Neal and Glendora Page O'Neal.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Michael (Mickey) Ward of Wilmington; daughter, Jennifer Ward Harrell (Jody) of Wilmington; granddaughters, Morgan O'Neal Harrell (Zeke) of Wilmington, Sarah Harrell Meaker (Jack) of Wilmington and grandson, Ian Christopher Harrell of Wilmington. Sisters, Dorothy O'Neal Cross of Tarboro, and Carol O'Neal Heath (Ronnie) of Tarboro; nieces and nephews, Raymond S. Parrisher, Jr; Susan C. Ainsley; Carl Wayne Cross Jr.; and Kelly D. Butler.

She was preceded death by her father Frank Earl O'Neal, her mother Glendora Page O'Neal, sister Helen O'Neal Parrisher, brother-in-law Carl Wayne Cross Sr, brother-in-law Raymond Sylvester Parrisher, nephew Douglas Michael Parrisher and son-in-law Joel Christopher Harrell.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Word of Life Church, 3388 McNair Road, Tarboro, NC 27886, from 10 am to 11 am. A celebration of life service will begin at 11 am.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
