Faye Dixon Guill passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Faye ran Cotton’s Grill for 44 years and loved all her customers like family. She was generous with her time, helping friends by taking them to their appointments and taking care of them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and sister, and a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Tarboro for over 65 years. She watched online when she was no longer able to attend in person.

In addition to his parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, “Cotton” Guill; daughter, Gloria Guill; and fifteen siblings.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Mitzi Harrell (Tracy); grandson, Jamie Laughter (Angel); two great grandchildren, Layton and Maisyn.

A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Tarboro, NC.
