Forrest Allen Smith, 74, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital, Tarboro, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Carlisle Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.
Forrest was born November 25, 1944 in Lenoir County to James Lemons and Doris Manning Smith.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 48 years, Samia Smith; daughters, Dana Smith Parrish (Jay) of Raleigh, NC., Karen Smith Rogers (David) of Manteo, NC; grandchildren, Gracie, Emma, James, Anna and George; brothers, Freely Smith (Ann) of Kinston, NC., J.T. Smith (Joann) of Owings, MD.; several nieces and nephews; family friend, Alice Hale.
