Frances Taylor Clark, 83, peacefully went to her heavenly home on August 23, 2023. Frances was born in Martin County on May 14, 1940 to the late Dennis Palmer Taylor and Sarah Mobley Taylor.

Visitation will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 6 until 8pm. The family will receive friends and family at other times at the home of Sid Clark, 2037 NC 42 East, Macclesfield, NC 27852.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2pm at Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor James Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak City Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, SL Clark, and brother, Dennis Thrower Taylor.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories for her sons, Sammy Clark and wife Angela, Sid Clark and special friend Gina Brown; grandchildren, Shane Clark and wife Courtney, Sophie Clark, Austin Clark, Payton Clark, Ryleigh Clark, Willa Clark, Jaxey Clark and Lyla Clark; great grandchildren, Aubree Clark and Jamie Clark; brother, William Brooks Taylor and wife Carol; and a niece and nephews. She also leaves behind a bonus son, Shawn Morris and wife Crystal; bonus grandchildren, Shawn Morris Jr and wife Tiffany, Slade Morris and Seth Morris; and bonus great grandson, Shawn Morris III.

Frances will be missed greatly by her family and friends.  We know she is rejoicing in heaven and has been reunited with the love of her life.
