Frances Cobb Webb, 91, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00pm on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Carlisle Funeral Home with a graveside service at 5:00pm at Queen Anne Cemetery in Fountain NC.

Frances was born on May 23, 1933 to the late Herman and Thelma Cobb.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Webb Jr.; son, Ronny K. Webb; and siblings, Ricky Cobb (Cathy-living), Bobby Cobb, Carolyn Cobb (Billy-living), and Jean Rawls.

Frances is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Webb; brother, Ed Cobb (Debra); grandchildren, Dustin Webb (Cheyenne) and Shannon Webb (Jason); great grandchildren, Ronny, Delaney, Austin, Rachel, Colton, Kayleigh, Wyatt, and Savannah; Susie Hagans whom she also loved as a daughter; and many nieces and nephews.

Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who saw nothing but good in everyone. Never speaking a harmful word to anyone. Everyone that met her loved her instantly. Her love for the Lord was her first priority in life then her husband, son, daughter-in-law, whom she often referred to as the daughter she never had, and her grandchildren. She was someone who touched every person's life she encountered and always left a lasting impression. France's passing has left a heartache that no one can heal, but the memory of her love is something no one can steal. Frances worked at Carolina Enterprise then ABB for over 30 years while raising her son and farming with her husband during the day. Her last years of employment were spent as a store clerk at the Antique Shop in Pinetops, which she loved doing for nearly 10 years. Her love will always be our guide and remain in our hearts forever.
