Garland West, Jr., 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lenoir County on June 12, 1950 to the late Garland and Frances Dawson West. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Tracy, Charles and Lindsey West.

He is survived by his son Britt West; sister Carolyn Hernandez and husband Tony; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 3:00 PM in the Chapel.

The family will also receive friends on Saturday at 704 E Country Club Drive, Tarboro, NC.
