Gary "Mitchell" Holland, age 69, of Tarboro passed away at home on January 7, 2022. He was born October 22, 1952, in Wilson County to Eddie and Pearl Holland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Garrett; grandson, Christian; sister, Joan Griffin; and brothers, Harold, Charles, William, and Gerald Holland.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Ramsey; grandsons, Brandon Ramsey, Jason Wilson, and Jessie Garrett; sister, Betty Summerlin (Tony); brothers, Randy Holland (Mary) and Linwood Holland; sisters-in-law, Ginger Holland, and Jackie Holland; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. at The United Church of Jesus Christ, 921 US Hwy 64 Alt. E, Tarboro, NC 27886.
