Gary Wayne Owens, 64, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Gary was a loving daddy, grandaddy, brother, son, and friend. He would help anyone who needed it, and always took care of his family and would do anything for them. Gary was a hardworker and was an amazing mechanic. He was known as Motor Man to many because of how great of a mechanic he was. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back for anyone.

Gary is survived by his mother, Peggy Owens; children, Thomas Owens and Tiffany Owens; grandchildren, Jonathan Hatchel Jr., Caleb Hatchel, Jayden Hatchel, Keyonna Jenkins, and Keymari Jenkins; siblings, Lee Owens (Gladys) and Brenda Owens Tucker (Finis); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Lee Owens; stepfather, Willie Mullins; and brother, Kenneth Owens.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Carlisle Funeral Home.
