Mr. Gene A Moseley, age 83, passed away on August 17, 2024, in the ECU Health Center, Tarboro, NC

He was born in Edgecombe County, his mother and father, Annie Peaden Moseley and William A Moseley.

Gene worked at Long Manufacturing for 44 Years, only retiring when they closed operations. He has always been a hard-working Man.

He loved watching TV and especially westerns and wrestling. He was a faithful member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Tarboro.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Peaden Moseley and William A Moseley; son, Allen Moseley; grandchildren, Shannon Farmer and Misty Joyner; brother, William Louis Moseley

He leaves behind a wife of 52 years Gloria Storms Moseley; daughter, Charlene Joyner; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Williams and husband Mitchel Williams of Tarboro; sister-in-law, Sylvia Moseley of Wake Forrest, Two nieces Angela Bahir of Wake Forest and Karen Moseley of Charlotte.

The family will receive friends and family  on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the First Free Will Baptist Church from 10 AM until 11AM. The funeral service will follow the visitation at the church with the Rev Michael Bryan officiating. The interment will follow services in the Moseley Family Cemetery, Crisp NC.
