Carolyn Carraway O'Neal, 81, passed away on Monday August 20, 2018.

She was born March 1, 1937 in Middlesex, NC to the late Mae and Will Carraway.

A son, Robert G. O'Neal, preceded her in death.

Carolyn was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for most of her life.

She is survived by her son, Michael B. O'Neal of the home, daughter, Sheila O'Neal of New York, NY, and son Christopher O'Neal;  her grandchildren, Eric O'Neal of Tarboro; Sydney and Max O'Neal of Ohio;  Meagan O'Neal, Katie O'Neal, and Paxton O'Neal, of Greenville, NC;  Step-daughters, Shirley Wainwright and Diane Gaddy, of Tarboro NC.

Surviving sisters are Inez C. Cherry, Barbara C. Latta, Eloise C. Johnson, and Jean C. Knight; brothers are Kenneth Carraway and Alan Norris.

Graveside services will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, Wilson, NC on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to Trinity Baptist Church, 730 West Wilson St., Tarboro, NC 27886.
