Geraldine D. Price (Jerry), 92, passed away and went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2025.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Edgecombe Memorial Park at 2:00 pm.

Mrs. Price, a native of Tarboro, NC, was the daughter of Cora Lee Pollard Rogerson and William Davenport. She met and married her high school sweetheart (John) on July 28, 1952. After marriage they traveled the world from 1955 – 1982 for the USAF and had three daughters. After her husband retired they resided in Lumberton, Manteo, and New Bern, and eventually settled in Greenville, NC to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Lee Rogerson; her father, William Davenport; her husband, John H. Price Jr.; and grandson, Ian Bade.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Buck Price; her beloved cousin, Jeanette Cain and husband Harry; and daughters, Jenifer Gregory and husband Pete, Jacque Price-Sauls, and Jana Price. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Haven, Brent, Madeleine, Chelsea, Taylor, Chelsea, Alexis, Brynn, and Lydia; and 12 great grandchildren.

She will always be remembered as a loving and protective wife, mother, friend, and grandmother and great-grandmother.
