Glenda Etheridge Harrell, 75, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Born to William and Matred Etheridge, Glenda was a long time resident of Edgecombe County. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her three great-grandchildren. She also very much loved a sweet little dog named Zoey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justa Harrell; and her son, Royce Harrell. Glenda is survived by her daughter, Lisha Harrell Fussell and son-in-law Tim Fussell, of Tarboro; granddaughter, Carman Fussell and her boyfriend Justin Bagley, of Greenville; grandson, Scott Fussell and his girlfriend Victoria Rogers; great-grandson, Taner Fussell, of Tarboro; grandson, R.J. Harrell and wife Amy Harrell; and great-grandsons, Nicholas and Jaxson Harrell, of Conetoe; R.J. Harrell's mother, Shirley Gallinoto, of Conetoe; brother, Michael Etheridge and wife Donna Etheridge, of Oxford; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A visitation will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, from 7:00-9:00pm. A graveside service is planned for Thursday, February 1, at 2:00pm in Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Reverend Bobby Forehand officiating. The family will also be receiving visitors at the home of Tim and Lisha Fussell, 605 Shiloh Rd., Tarboro, NC 27886. Arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Inc., of Tarboro.
