He is survived by his mother, Alma M. Peguero; father, Claude W. Derby III; maternal grandparents, Bonnie Peguero (Jose); paternal grandparents, Patricia Burdette (Tim Burdette) and C. Wayne Derby, II (Michelle Derby); great-grandmother, Gladys S. Medford; and many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends of the family.

Although a life unlived, you were loved beyond measure and will be cherished forever. You will never be forgotten. We love you.
