Grover Lee Knox, Jr. 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 23, in Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Johnny Hendricks officiating.

He was born in Martin County on July 28, 1944 to Grover Lee Knox, Sr. and Gladys Stalls Knox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Warren; and brothers, Elmer Lee Knox, Jesse Lee Knox and James Randolph Knox.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Janice Owens Knox; daughter, Judy Lynn Knox Lewis, of Battleboro; sister, Reather Bryant, of Conetoe; granddaughter, Glenda Shearin husband Paul; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Mason.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00-10:45am at Carlisle Funeral Home.
