Hali Alexandra Whitehurst 31, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

She was born in Edgecombe County on December 14, 1988 to Ray Whitehurst and Cindy Proctor Whitehurst.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Lindsay Whitehurst.

Hali leaves behind to cherish her memory, her partner Charlie Cook; children, Camdyn Whitehurst, Carson Cook and Harper Cook; mother, Cindy P. Whitehurst and Woody Harrell; father, Ray Whitehurst and wife Jama Whitehurst; maternal grandmother, Pat Proctor, maternal grandfather, Chester Proctor and step-grandmother Edna; and paternal grandmother, Claire Whitehurst.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday in Edgecombe Memorial Park with Pastor Milton Little officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Mental Health America Of The Tar River Region, 2501 Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
