Mrs. Helen Darlene Lynn, age 69 of Rocky Mount, passed away on January 6, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Brown and Helen Whitehurst, brother Sonny Brown, and sister Carolyn "Shug" Merritt.

She is survived by her husband and devoted caregiver Ronald Earl Lynn, who she shared her life with for almost 38 years; daughter Pattie Craft (Kevin), step-son Timmy Lynn (Angel), grandchildren Skylar Craft, Kyndle Nichols (Justin), Destiny Fuller (Taylor), Jalyn Lynn, great granddaughter Gracie Fuller, brother Timmy Brown, sister Lela "Tootsie" Taylor and special fur baby Razor.

Aside from her family which she dearly loved, she enjoyed trips to the mountains, riding to the reservoir to enjoy nature with her husband, and going to the local airport to sit and watch the airplanes taking off and landing.

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10 until 11 am with a service following at 11 in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Dew will officiate the service. The interment will follow in the Edgecombe Memorial Park, Tarboro NC
