Helen Kondili Pistolis died peacefully in her sleep on August 19, 2024, at her home in Tarboro, N.C. She was born in Greece on April 22, 1924. She married Chris S. Pistolis (Dixie Café) and they had three children.

Helen is survived by her children: Connie, Charlie (Carol) and Celia (David Kale); her grandsons Michael Kale (Betsy Pierce) and Daniel Kale (Irina Conc); many nieces and nephews and her church family.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Calvary Episcopal Church at 11:00 AM. The family will greet visitors at a reception following the service in Clark Hall. There will be a private family burial at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
