Henry V. Vick, 87, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Monday.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Tarboro with the Rev. Lamont Hemminger officiating.

Dr. Vick was preceded in death by his wife Clonie J. Vick.

He is survived by a brother, Dr. J. Bernard Vick and wife Naomi of Greenville, NC; daughters, Deborah Vick Peters and husband Dr. Brookes Peters of Tarboro, Amy L. Vick of Tarboro, Carol Vick Crocker and husband, W.H. Crocker, Jr. of Spring Hope; son; Stephen V. Vick and wife Jamie C. Vick of Youngsville; grandchildren; Michael B. Peters and wife Meredith M. of Tarboro, Dr. R. Daniel Peters and wife Melissa C. of Irvine, Ca., Andrew W. Crocker of Spring Hope, Thomas A. Crocker and wife Liz M. of Charlotte, S. Ryan Vick and wife Amanda H. of Youngsville, Landon J. Vick and wife Courtney B. of New Bern; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces and four nephews.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm.
