Hildegard P. Brock, 85, of Tarboro, NC passed away on January 22, 2020 at SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC.

Hildegard was the daughter of William H. and Helen S. Pollin of Bucholz, Germany. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle E. Ricci (Jim) of Wake Forest, son, Scott W. Eason (Sandra) of Raleigh, two grandsons, a granddaughter, Alexandra Ricci, as well as a great grandson, Gavin House.

Hildegard served in the US Navy following graduation from high school. After moving to Tarboro, Hildegard was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church for many years and co-led a Girl Scout troop with the late Joan Spong. She worked for Edgecombe-Martin Electric Membership Corporation, Carolina Enterprises and retired from Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church in 2005.  In her retirement she volunteered for Friends of the Edgecombe County Memorial Library and Edgecombe County Veteran's Military Museum.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Episcopal Church, 411 E. Church St. Tarboro NC. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a memorial donation may consider:
