Betty Inez Brantley Robbins passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Edgecombe Health and Rehabilitation, Tarboro, NC.  She was born May 28, 1935, in Nash County, to the late Theodore Lou Brantley and Betty Gertrude Edwards Brantley.  Inez retired from Empire of Carolina Payroll Department.  She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband John Melvin (Bill) Robbins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean B. Mullen, Margaret B. Campbell, and brother Charles Brantley.

Inez is survived by her sister Peggy Lou B. Taylor, of Nashville, NC, brothers James O Brantley of Spring Hope, NC, and Larry E. Brantley of Newport News, Virginia, brother-in-law Donnie T. Robbins (Janie) and sister-in-law Thelma "Bootsie" Braddy (Paul), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, prior to the service, and other times at the home of Donnie and Janie Robbins, 1109 Crestview Drive, Tarboro, NC 27886.

Interment will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
