James C. Carlisle, Jr. 58, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July, 1, 2019, 3:00 pm at Tarboro First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bobby Forehand and Rev. Aubrey Spears officiating. Entombment will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park, Tarboro.

James was employed with Edgecombe Martin Electric Corporation for 33 years. He had a great love for The Lord, served and was a member of Tarboro First Pentecostal Holiness Church. James enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and cutting grass at home and at his parents.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 20 years, Rhonda T. Carlisle; sons, Andrew Carlisle and Jackson Carlisle of the home; parents, J.C. and Ann Carlisle; father and mother-in-law, Donnie and Yvonne " Snooky" Tolson; sisters-in-law, Lisa Tolson and Donna Tolson Winstead; niece, Melissa Winstead; nephews, Chris Baker and Dustin Baker.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and other times at their home, 1813 Barlow Rd., Tarboro.
