James Clifford Griffin, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020.

The family will have a private graveside service on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at William and Mary Hart Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Taylor officiating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Q. Griffin; parents, Clifford and Hattie Griffin; sisters, Helen Griffin and Lois Hammond.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Coker, Dana Parisher (Tony); grandchildren, Kyle Coker (Jamie); Haley Lewis (Tyler), Tabatha Burns (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Leah and Jace Coker, Lylah, Kinley, and Raelyn Burns; step-children, Sherry Dew (Bill), Linda Strickland (Jackie), Susan Harrell (J.E.), Jamie Winders (Ronnie) ; step-grandchildren, Mallory, Brooke, Grant and Briley, Rando (Angie), Missie, Jase (Jami) Jaci (Aaron) Callie and Derreck (Kim); step-great-grandchildren, Mallie, Hayley, Lindsey, Lacey, Lesley, Rylee, Ragan, Susanne, Anniston, Merritt, his beloved fur baby Bentley; good friends Danny Ray Webb and Phyllis; and numerous extended family and friends.
