"Jr" Bulluck, Jr.
June 10, 1989 – February 6, 2022
James Otis Bulluck Jr, "JR", 32, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on June 10, 1989, the son of James and Crystal Bulluck.
JR was employed by Town of Tarboro Fire Department where he was recently promoted to Fire Engineer. He served the Town of Tarboro proudly for 9 years. In addition, JR was employed by Quincy Farms, where he has worked with pride since he was 13 years old becoming more like family than an employee. Most recently, he owned and operated J&J Wild Game Processing in his "free time".
JR had many titles, some of his favorites: loving husband, devoted daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always enjoyed a good prank. JR cherished family time above all, spending time with his boys, showing livestock, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and fishing.
JR was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Patsy and Otis Bulluck and Uncle, Charles Coker Jr.
In addition to his parents, JR leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Amy. Sons, Brendan James Bulluck, Tucker Case Bulluck and Finnley Reed Bulluck. Brother, Dustin Bulluck. In-laws, Theresa Vester, Mark and Robin Case. Brother-in-law, Cole Vester and wife Macon. Niece, Lynnlee James Vester. Grandparents, Charles and Shirley Coker, Connie Palmer. He is also survived by a host of special aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at First Free Will Baptist Church of Tarboro on Thursday, February 10, at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home. Other times, the family will receive friends and family at the home, 2043 McNair Road, Tarboro.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in the honor of JR Bulluck to Edgecombe County 4-H Livestock.
