With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our precious baby boy, James Tony Lewis IV, whose short time with us was filled with immeasurable love and cherished memories.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the service following in the Chapel at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Johnny Hendricks officiating the service.

JT was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Surles III; paternal great grandparents, James Lewis Sr. and Judy Allen; and uncle, Zachary Surles.

JT is survived by his parents, Trey and Ashley Lewis; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Tarasa Lewis; maternal grandmother, Candis Surles; Aunts, Toni Sharpe (Josh), Jordan Lewis (Austin), Nicole Surles, Meredith Surles, and Kaitlin Surles; uncle, Stephen Joyner; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Lewis; paternal great grandparents, Janet Lewis, William Marlow (Jill), and Craig Allen (Eva); and cousin, Ella Sue Sharpe; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at Janet Lewis Residence, 4774 McKendree Church Road, Tarboro, NC 27886.
