James Michael (Mike) Mitchell, 64, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2021.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 6:00–8:00 P.M. at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Mike was a truck driver for Walmart in Mebane, NC. He was a member of Pikeville Church of God in Pikeville, Tennessee. He enjoyed building, painting, and drafting.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Vera Stevens; stepfather, Jim Stevens; father, Louis Red Mitchell; stepmother, Vodie Mitchell; and sisters, Nettie Mitchell and Patrica Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Mitchell; brother, Louie Mitchell; children, Penny, Scott, Erin, Cheyenne and Joni Mitchell, Kim and Jan Westbrook; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Isaac Westbrook, Jeshina Westbrook, Alex (Veto) Boyd, Brittney Westbrook, Hannah and Haley Westbrook, Coco Hawkins, Aaliyah Hawkins, Ethan Mitchell, Presleigh Wilkinson, Matthew Lewis (Jr); and sister-in-law, Carolyn Pollard.

Graveside service will held on Thursday at 2:00 PM in Everlasting Acres, Macclesfield, NC with Rev. Michael Bryan officiating.
