James Ervin Pridgen, born April 21, 1965, died suddenly at home on August 2, 2024.  He was employed by BHH Home Improvement.

James was born to James William Pridgen and Daphne Ann Lewis Harrell in Edgecombe County.

He was preceded in death by his father James William Pridgen, stepfather Bobby Ray Harrell, paternal grandparents Jack and Wilder Pridgen, maternal grandparents Richard Ervin and Emma Kate Lewis, and sister-in-law Rhonda Kay Harrell.

He is survived by a wife Vassar Pridgen of Wake Forest, his mother Ann Harrell of Tarboro NC, sister Daphne Brewer (Lynn) of Sanford NC and brother Bobby Ray Harrell, Jr. of Tarboro NC, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Carlisle Funeral Home in James Pridgen's name.
