Janet Marie Holloman Bridgers went to her heavenly home Thursday, March 7, 2019.  She was born on Oct. 24, 1934 to the late Joe Robert and Sarah Summerlin Holloman.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tony Ray Bridgers; her granddaughter, Danyell Sanders; her grandson, Richie Champion(Dawn); her great-grandson, Charlie Powers, and siblings, James, Robert Jr. and Billy Holloman, Annie Williams and Dorothy Lewis.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Linda Champion (Gary) and Vickie Wilson (Ricky), her grandchildren, Travis (Rachel), Amy (Obie), Kelly, Ariel, Brian, Bradley (Megan), Wayne and Richie (April), and 18 great-grandchildren.   She is also survived by her brothers, Bobby Holloman (Wanda) and Carl Lamm (Rosa) and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marjorie Pollard and Anne Wilson for their loving care and thoughtfulness during Janet's time of illness.

There will be a Celebration of Life service for Janet on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2 Pm at Edgecombe Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Donnie Tolson.
